Welcome to Our Website
The company was established in 1978 by Harold (Hal) Newman as a one-person shop. Now H&L Electric has grown to a company with 31 employees; entailing 28 electrical trades persons with skills ranging from laborers and electrical apprentices to licensed journeyman and master electricians.
Over the past 28 years, H&L Electric has increased its’ business capacity from residential and light industrial to include large commercial customers. Economic growth in the Mid-Kansas region provides an opportunity for additional company expansion to meet construction demand. This construction demand can come either from outside suppliers or increased capacity of existing local companies. H&L Electric wants to grow to meet this demand. Current and future employees enjoy good wages, benefits and the opportunity to develop progressive skills in the electrical construction trade.
