Our Newly Contructed Facility
H&L Electric, Inc. is owned and operated by Hal and Lois Newman. Their daughter Sara Walker and son-in-law Garett Walker have joined the company and plan to carry it in to the future.
In 1978 Hal Newman began his business with a hope and a prayer. For the first two years Hal worked solo on the jobs he performed. Shortly thereafter the jobs were steady and he regularly employed 4 to 5 other workers. The jobs ranged from service calls to small commercial projects, with the primary focus on residential construction. After 15 years of residential and light commercial contracting, H&L Electric branched in to a new area by bidding on large, more complex job and expanded the scope of services the company provided to the contractors and industries in the region. As a result of the business expansion, H&L Electric began building the workforce with a large focus on commercial work. One of the first commercial projects was a new 50,000 square foot facility for Big Lakes Developmental Center. Since then the company has steadily grown by completing many commercial, industrial and residential projects. Please refer to our project tab to see current and finished project details
